CAMPP Interview: We need health care where we live

Laura Chesnik interviews Philippa von Ziegenweidt, spokesperson and member of Citizens for an Accountable Megahospital Planning Process (CAMPP). CAMPP is a grassroots community organization in Windsor and leader in the fight for citizens to be consulted on healthcare decisions in their community. Their website can be found here.

CAMPP was formed in response to the proposal by the City of Windsor to locate a new megahospital outside of the city core while at the same time closing two hospitals within the city. Laura and Philippa discuss the principle of having health care located where we live, what CAMPP has learned from its experience and where things stand at this time with the proposed megahospital. Please share this interview to help inform your peers about where things stand.
