Community Support Informs the Electorate
The support from the community for my campaign has been to help the electorate cast an informed vote. This has included people taking lawn signs, sharing social media posts, handing out flyers door-to-door and providing a fence to hang a banner. I would like to specifically thank the Windsor Islamic Association for organizing the only All-Candidates forum for the entire Windsor-Essex region at their Mosque on May 30. The event gave the community the only chance to meet all the candidates, hear what they stand for and ask questions. The event contributed to a warm atmosphere in which becoming informed was important, rather than scoring points or squabbling.
