In this series reviewing the Ontario Ford government’s reforms in education since taking office, we discuss some of the major reforms that took place in post-secondary and K-12 education and the resistance that emerged to them. In part 1 researchers Adam and Kaitlyn led the discussion on major reforms in post-secondary education. In this episode, we address major reforms in K-12 pre-pandemic and the widespread resistance of students alongside teachers and education workers.

This series is being produced in order to aid Ontario teachers and education workers in their deliberations about how to make sure their rights are affirmed in the election and after as contract negotiations will begin with whichever government is elected.
