Quebec Personalities Speak Up
Various personalities in Quebec have launched a campaign called: My Oath which encourages everyone to reject any submission to Charles III declared King of Canada and to uphold allegiance to the Quebec nation in friendship with the Indigenous peoples. The translation of the oath is:
I, […], deny all allegiance, all submission to Charles III, declared King of Canada. To him, his heirs, successors and representatives, I recognize no sovereignty over Quebec.
I, […], swear that I will be loyal to the Quebec nation and that I will faithfully serve the Republic of Quebec in friendship with the indigenous peoples.
